Discernment can be difficult for those currently in school or working. It may be better to get away to fully consider your vocation and whether God is calling you to seminary or religious life. There are several options available for those who wish to discern further through one of our retreats. Please contact our Vocation Director for more information about any of our retreats, or to register to attend.

Quo Vadis Discernment Retreat
June 18-20 2024
Quo Vadis is a Diocese of Lafayette discernment retreat for young men who are entering their sophomore year of schooling through college-aged men. Current seminarians are present and run the retreat. There is prayer, talks by priests and seminarians, recreation, Mass with the Bishop, and small groups to learn about what discernment to the priesthood looks like.
Onsite check-in begins around 8:30AM on Tuesday, June 18th and the retreat concludes with Mass midday on June 20th.

Thought about the priesthood lately? Been on your mind? Hosted at St. Joseph Seminary in Covington, the Come and See Retreat is for young men ages 16 and older to meet with seminarians, priests, and lay members to learn about discernment.
Quo Vadis Day Retreat
Community of Jesus Crucified, St. Martinville, LA
The annual camp is offered to all Catholic young men in the Diocese of Lafayette, ages 15-25 who would like to learn more about vocations. It is held in St. Martinville on the grounds of the Community of Jesus Crucified.
